Girl Scouts from our north area participated in Memorial Day flag placement activities in honor of our veterans.

Girls placed flags on veteran’s graves at the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery on May 25^th in honor of Memorial Day. Park Rangers said it was the largest group of Girl Scouts ever to attend one of these events.

Despite rainy conditions, girls also placed flags on veteran’s graves at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City on May 26th in honor of Memorial Day.
