Gold Award Girl Scout Lindsey created a butterfly garden to help sustain and grow a decreasing butterfly population in her area.

Today is not only Pi Day it’s also National Learn About Butterflies Day!

One phenomenal Gold Award Girl Scout created a project centered around butterflies.

Lindsey created a butterfly garden to help sustain and grow a decreasing butterfly population in her area. She learned that pollinators survival is threatened and they need our assistance to thrive. The butterfly garden Lindsey created is listed on the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge and on the Monarch Watch.

“Through my project,” Lindsey said, “I learned nothing is too difficult to complete, and anyone can make a change in our world!”
